Accessibility Services
Accessibility services for Yale Rep audiences include open captioned and audio described performances, a free assistive listening system, large-print and Braille programs, a direct TTY line to the Rep Box Office (203-432-1521), wheelchair accessibility, including an elevator entrance into the Rep Theatre located to the left side of the building, and accessible seating in each of Yale Rep’s three theatres.

Captioned Performances
You’ll never have to ask “what did they say?” again. Open Captioning offers patrons a digital display of the play’s dialogue as it’s spoken. One Saturday matinee performance of each of Yale Rep's productions will be open captioned.

One Saturday matinee of each of Yale Rep's productions is audio-described. The pre-performance description begins at 1:45pm, with live description beginning at 2pm. Audio description receivers and headsets are available in the theatre lobby at the concierge desk.

Each of Yale Rep’s performance spaces are wheelchair accessible. Please make requests for wheelchair and companion seats at the time of ticket purchase. Note: wheelchair access to Yale Repertory Theatre ( 1120 Chapel Street) is via an elevator located on the left hand side of the building, across from the entrance to Scuzzi.

Each of Yale Rep's performance spaces is equipped with an assistive listening system. Free listening devices are available in the theatre lobby at the concessions desk.

Braille programs are available at each audio described performance (see dates above) in the theatre lobby at the concierge desk.
Large
Print Programs
Large Print programs are available during the entire run of each production in the theatre lobby at the concierge desk.
